E-signing for schools, early childhood centres and tutors.
Education providers send paper home constantly, and much of it comes back crumpled, late or not at all. Moving enrolment forms, trip permissions and staff agreements to SignAndGo means parents sign on the phone they already check, and the office can see who still owes a form.
Enrolment
An enrolment pack might include the enrolment form, your centre or school policies, a photo permission form and fee terms. Put them in one envelope. Text fields capture the child's details, the family doctor and emergency contacts. Tick boxes and Yes/No choices cover permissions like sunscreen, photos on your newsletter and outings around the neighbourhood.
An upload field lets parents attach a copy of an immunisation certificate or birth certificate when you need to sight one.
Both parents, or whoever has care
Where both parents or caregivers should sign, add each of them and choose all at once. Neither has to wait for the other, and the form completes when both have signed. For families with different addresses, each person gets their own link.
Trips and one-off permissions
Education outside the classroom brings permission slips, often for a whole class. Make a short template with a Yes/No choice for permission and a text field for any notes, then send it to each family as their own envelope. The envelope list becomes your roll of returned permissions, and automatic reminders chase the stragglers.
For newsletters or policy updates parents only need to read, send them review-only and parents confirm receipt.
- Class trips and camps.
- Sports team and transport permissions.
- Photo and media consents.
Staff, relievers and tutors
Employment agreements for teachers and kaiako, relief teacher arrangements, contractor agreements with private tutors and policy acknowledgements can all go through the same workspace. A principal or centre manager can be the approver on new agreements before they reach the staff member.
Tutoring providers can send a learning agreement and terms to each new family, then a fresh one at the start of each term from the same template.
Boards of trustees and centre owners can use the same workspace for supplier agreements, cleaning contracts and lease paperwork, with the office manager as admin deciding who can send on the school's behalf.
Common questions
- Can a parent sign on their phone?
- Yes. The link opens in any phone browser and every field is marked.
- Can we see which families haven't returned a trip form?
- Yes. The envelope list shows who has opened and signed, and you can send reminders.
- Can different teachers use the same templates?
- Yes. Templates are shared with the workspace unless marked private.
- Can a caregiver ask a question about a form?
- Yes. They can decline with a reason, and the office sees the question and can follow up.
