E-signing for real estate agents.
Listings and offers move at the pace of whoever is slowest to sign. This guide shows how an agency can send its own paperwork through SignAndGo so vendors, purchasers and the office all see the same envelope, in the right order, without anyone driving across town with a pen.
The documents an agency sends most
Every agency has its own set: the agency agreement you take on a listing, an appraisal you want acknowledged, marketing authorities, offers written on your sale and purchase form, and the conditions that follow. SignAndGo sends the documents you already use. Upload the PDF or Word file your office works from and place the fields on it.
- Agency agreements and marketing authorities for new listings.
- Offers and counter-offers on your own sale and purchase form.
- Notices that a condition has been met, for the other side to acknowledge.
- Appraisals or information packs sent for review only.
Two vendors, two purchasers, one envelope
Property is often owned by couples, family trusts or several trustees. Add each owner as a signer and choose whether they sign all at once or one after another. For an offer, a common order is purchasers first, then the vendors, with the listing agent copied in so they know the moment it lands.
If your branch manager checks every agency agreement before it goes to the vendor, add them as an approver at the start. Nothing reaches the vendor until they have approved it.
Initials on the pages that change
Offers rarely survive the first round untouched. Put initials fields beside the clauses that are being negotiated, a date field on the signature page, and text fields for anything a purchaser has to supply, such as their solicitor's details. A Yes/No choice works well for questions like whether a chattel is included.
When a counter-offer is needed, the vendor can decline with a reason instead of signing, and you see their note straight away. Send a revised version as a new envelope, and use the version compare to show both parties what moved between drafts.
Keeping the office in the loop
The envelope list shows who has opened each document and who still needs to act. Set reminders to go out automatically during a busy campaign, or nudge a single purchaser by hand. Your admin team can work from the same workspace, with templates for each agreement so new salespeople place fields the same way every time.
Once everyone has signed, each person receives the finished document with a completion certificate, and the audit trail records each view and signature with names, emails, times and IP addresses.
Common questions
- Can a vendor sign from overseas?
- Yes. The link works in any browser, so an owner travelling or living abroad signs on whatever device they have with them.
- Can we use our existing agency forms?
- Yes. You upload your own documents. SignAndGo does not supply real estate forms.
- Who sees the offer before the vendor?
- Only the people you put ahead of them in the signing order, plus any approver you add at the start.
